This dreamy scenery once again from my imagination, full of vibrant flowers and plants, running water that you can almost hear, and those big stormy yellow sunsets you want to chase. This piece makes me crave to travel and keep on going whatever I’m surrounded with.
Months of putting my heart & detailed brush strokes into this painting- Im happy that this is the finished piece that my eyes can’t move off.
As a believer this dunya is just a bridge, we should treat this life no more than a path to the next life. We are nothing but passing travellers, we may stop and rest under a tree, but we shouldn’t take that tree as our home rather return to our journey and aim to reach our true destination.
Abdullah bin `Umar said, "Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) took hold of my shoulder and said, 'Be in this world as if you were a stranger or a traveler.
Alot of hardships have happened this year whether it was sickness, death, success or worries ; yet we should keep on moving and accept the Qadr. It’s been tough but Alhamdulillah for what we have or don’t have.
Abu Sa'id and Abu Huraira (رضي الله عنهم) reported that they heard the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ saying:
“Never a believer is stricken with discomfort, hardship or illness, grief or even with mental worry that his sins are not expiated for him.”
(Sahih Muslim 2573)
